Data Science Tech lead

Brain-Machine-Interface startup company specializing in integrating neuroscience with analytical solutions, primarily serving the automotive industry. The company has developed a system to monitor the driver's brain activity using sensors existing within the vehicle, such as steering wheel and seat sensors. These sensors track involuntary micro-movements of the body's muscles, influenced by brain behavior, reflecting the driver's functional state.

Based in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company has 25 employees, implements remote work on certain days, and enjoys stable funding while progressing forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize generic algorithms that can obtain insights and actionable recommendations from a large variety of different unique data sets.

• Build a distributed analytics model (partly local, partly in AWS cloud) based on advanced machine learning methodologies

• Research for existing open source algorithms that may be applied, or invent new algorithms. Implement the model to show correctness and completeness.

• Integrate with the generic product platforms for optimal performance, flexibility, and expandability for multiple use cases.

Job Requirements

• 3 years of practical professional experience in developing a vast range of algorithms for data analytics, in the machine learning and deep learning domains

• Track record in algo research, implementation and optimization in commercial / operational environments.

• Experience and deep knowledge of Python, Pytest, and tools in the AWS cloud environment.

• Work in an agile development team to plan implementation. Knowledge of GIT, CI/CD tools

• Ability to tie-in math approached to real life problems

• Experience in the full life cycle of training, detection, and learning.

• Experience in the process end to end: technologies for data engineering / data preprocessing / feature selection, extraction, and enrichment

• Graduate in Mathematics and/or engineering, academic background, and wide knowledge in advanced math approached in big data analytics.
