Q&R HW and Test Engineer

Mobileye is looking for a Quality & Reliability hardware and test engineer to join the System-on-Chip design and production team.

Our cutting-edge automotive products run at high volume manufacturing, and Mobileye evolves to assume full ownership of its silicon design and production activities.

If you have excellent knowledge and experience with semiconductor Quality and Reliability hardware and test along with strong leadership, integration, and communication skills, this is a unique opportunity to join our team and lead this activity from its very initial stages.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing burn-in hardware and test solutions for silicon components, ensuring their reliability and performance. Your expertise in semiconductor burn-in processes and hardware design will be critical in ensuring the quality and longevity of our products.

What will your job look like:

• Define and design hardware PCB, Burn-in Boards, components, system for semiconductor Q&R stress and tests
• Design test programs for prototype testing and optimize the solutions for high volume manufacture burn-in
• Design and develop burn-in hardware systems, boards, including PCBs, test sockets, test fixtures to subject silicon components to stress testing and accelerated aging, such as HTOL, Burn-In, ESD, Latch-up.
• Create detailed test plans that specify the burn-in parameters, test conditions, and data collection methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and OSATs to define the DFT, testing quality assurance and production test requirements.
• Test equipment bring-up: Set up and configure burn-in equipment, ensuring that all testing systems are functioning correctly and are calibrated to industry standards.
• Test execution: Oversee and manage the burn-in testing process, monitoring equipment performance, and addressing any issues that may arise during testing.
• Data analysis: Collect and analyze data from burn-in tests to identify potential issues, anomalies, and trends. Troubleshoot and resolve any test-related problems.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and equipment configurations.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that the tests and silicon components meet required performance and reliability standards.
• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and hardware optimizations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the burn-in testing process.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in semiconductor burn-in hardware and test engineering.
• Proficiency in designing and building burn-in hardware systems, including experience with thermal management solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with semiconductor testing equipment and burn-in chambers.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and software used for test data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and OSATs.
• Acquaintance with automotive industry semiconductor test and Q&R standards and practice
• Hands-on with hardware design tools, testers and test software
• Good knowledge in English
