Sharepoint Specialist - Infrastructure

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated SharePoint Specialist with a focus on infrastructure to join our dynamic team. As a SharePoint Specialist, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint infrastructure to support the organization's collaboration and document management needs.

Responsibilities:

1. SharePoint Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

• Design, plan, and implement SharePoint infrastructure solutions to meet organizational requirements.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of SharePoint farms and servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems.

1. System Administration and Maintenance:

• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.
• Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems to ensure system availability.

1. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for SharePoint infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

1. User Support and Training:

• Provide support to end-users, addressing issues and answering queries related to SharePoint.
• Develop and deliver training programs to empower users with the necessary skills to leverage SharePoint effectively.

1. Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to achieve project goals.
• Document all aspects of SharePoint infrastructure, including configurations and procedures.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of SharePoint services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and security.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator) are a plus.
