Hardware System Integration Engineer

As part of Mobileye's ambitious road map for autonomous car driving systems, our mission is to develop the best in class and high-performance long-range FMCW LIDAR systems. Our fascinating LiDAR system contains the most challenging cutting-edge technology of multidiscipline domains such electro-optic, mechanics, signal processing, algorithms, HW, VLSI, FW & SW.

Your journey will start by joining to our LiDAR System Integration team at Haifa and you will get OJT on our flagship LiDAR system.

You will be working closely with the Development and Production teams, assisting in building relationship and knowledge base with and for our customers.

On a daily basis, you will get hands-on tasks and gain in-depth knowledge of our LiDAR system, get familiar with various diagnostic tools and learn hacking & low level debugging practices both in HW and SW.

What will your job look like:

• You'll join our LiDAR R&D group in the System Integration team and will take part in the development activities.
• Work closely with architectures to bring your experience from customers.
• We speak Pythonish - you'll take part in reading, writing, and executing Python scripts for infrastructure development and automated or manual test setups.
• Work closely with development and product teams to debug, troubleshoot HW/FW failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Engage customers and visit customer sites worldwide to support the first physical integration.
• Analyze customer issues and drive bug fixes as part of case handling together with Mobileye's development teams.
  
  

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HW system validation and integration
• At least 2 year experience in Python programming and working with Git
• Excellent understanding of electronics hardware and topology at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships
• At least 2 years' experience in a technical customer-facing role - Advantage
• Proficient in English speaking and documentation writing
• Willing to work with customers and travel worldwide
• Team player
