CPU Core Architect

Job Description

The core architecture team is looking for an outstanding and creative architect to shape the future of the MLC cluster for the next generation of Intel Core processors.

This Job Includes

• Analyzing the performance bottlenecks of the current generation.
• Develop new HW algorithms and new HW structures for improving the core performance in a power efficient manner.
• Code (C++) and evaluate the new algorithms using simulations.
• Tune and improve the algorithms for best performance and power.
• Write specification documents
• Work closely with the design team during the implementation phase of the next generation Core.
  
  

Qualifications

Experienced EE or CS graduate.

4 years of experience in core CPU architecture or design.

Programing skills are required (preferably C++, scripting languages are advantage)

Processor core micro-architecture familiarity is an advantage.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
