Job Description

As a Wireless SoC System Architect at Intel, you will be responsible for defining the architectural framework and system design of our advanced wireless System-on-Chip products. This role requires a deep understanding of wireless communication systems, as well as strong system-level design expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Define and design the system architecture for wireless SoC products, considering factors such as power efficiency, performance, and scalability.
• System Specification: Develop detailed system specifications, requirements, and use cases for the wireless SoC, ensuring alignment with customer and market needs.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the SoC meets stringent performance requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration into the SoC.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with wireless SoC development.
• Testing and Validation: Collaborate with testing and validation teams to define test cases and ensure the wireless SoC meets quality and reliability standards.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and design guidelines for the wireless SoC system.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a system architect in wireless communication or SoC design.
• In-depth knowledge of wireless communication protocols and standards - plus.
• Familiarity with semiconductor technologies and SoC development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant design tools and software.
• Experience with system-level modelling and simulation - plus.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
