As an Engineering Team Manager, you will lead, mentor and grow a diverse team of excellent engineers, and drive an inclusive and collaborative culture. Your responsibilities include but not limited to: Engaging directly with the VP R&D, Product managers, designers, QA engineers and other teams across Intel to define a strategic roadmap and ship new features; Overseeing all aspects of the team's development life cycle; Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, testable and efficient code by the team; representing the team in leadership meetings and driving communication with customers and stakeholders; and managing project timelines and deliverables while unblocking engineers

Qualifications

BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent

At least 5 years experience leading and managing an engineering team, at least 10 years overall experience in technical roles.

Proven experience overseeing end-to-end development and deployment of complex production web applications in highly scalable cloud environments.

Deep knowledge and proven experience with Go or Python.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Advantage

Experience with front end development using one of the following frameworks: Vue.js, React, Angular.

Rails experience

Good Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSql databases

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
