Head of Game Economy

Kooply is seeking a strategic and insightful Head of Economy to spearhead the economic design and monetization strategies of our mobile gaming projects. In this pivotal role, you will craft and manage the virtual economies of our games, balancing player engagement with monetization. As an integral part of our team, you will combine analytical skills with creative vision to ensure our games are both financially successful and enjoyable for players.

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage the in-game economy, including pricing, virtual goods, and in-app purchases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate economy systems within our games.
• Analyze player data to optimize monetization strategies without compromising the player experience.
• Lead the implementation of Live Ops events and promotions to drive player engagement and revenue.
• Work closely with the data analytics team to understand player behaviors and trends.
• Ensure a balanced economy that aligns with our games' overall design and business goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in casual mobile games.
• Involvement in at least 2 successful mobile game projects.
• Expertise in In-App Purchases (IAP), Live Operations (Live Ops), and Ad Monetization strategies.
• Strong background as a Business Analyst (BA) or in a data-driven role.
• Proficient in creating and managing simulations within game economies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Passionate about mobile games and creating fun, engaging player experiences.
