Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 70 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what's the job?

We are seeking an experienced Billing and Payments Manager to join Guardio’s R&D Team. As the Billing and Payments Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our payment processes, ensuring business and financial compliance globally.

You will:

• Collaborate with various teams, including Product, R&D, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, to accurately map the company's customer subscription billing cycle, end-to-end, while optimizing the payment processing workflow.
• Ideate, plan, and drive technical development of data-driven projects to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the company's payment collection efforts.
• Align company efforts to meet local regulation and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the BI and finance teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to customer payments.

• Proven experience in global billing, payments, mass-payments, and financial management roles.
• Technical mind with attention to details, experienced in bringing complex ideas to production.
• Extensive knowledge in areas related to online payments.
• Strong understanding of global VAT, sales tax, and international payment processes.
• Working experience with BI tools and data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
