Cyber Security Network Analyst

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with a strong focus on Threat Hunting and Cyber Intelligence Monitoring. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in monitoring cyber threats on the internet, verifying and vetting technical cyber intelligence related to received indicators, and maintaining timely communications with our end clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Hunting:

• Proactively and iteratively search through networks to detect and isolate advanced threats that evade existing security solutions.
• Utilize various tools and methodologies to conduct cyber intelligence activities.
• Analyze, identify, and track malicious activities and patterns, providing a proactive layer of defense.

Cyber Intelligence Monitoring:

• Monitor various cyber sources and platforms for potential threats targeting the organization and its clients.
• Verify and vet technical cyber intelligence related to received indicators.
• Ensure timely dissemination of actionable intelligence to relevant stakeholders.

Client Communication:

• Conduct regular update calls with end clients to inform them of potential threats, intelligence findings, and preventive measures.
• Maintain a clear line of communication with internal and external partners ensuring transparency and understanding of ongoing threat activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in threat hunting and cyber intelligence roles.
• Deep understanding of networking and the TCP/IP stack.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods.
• Proficient with SIEMs and other cybersecurity tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles or customer support.
• Knowledge of other programming or scripting languages is advantageous.
