The Corporate Development Director will play a pivotal role in shaping ICL’s inorganic strategy and driving inorganic growth.
ICL’s corporate development team is responsible for strategizing, sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
This position will report directly to ICL’s EVP of Corporate Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- M&A Strategy: Partner with key leaders across the organization to develop and execute the company’s inorganic strategy in core and adjacent markets globally.
- Develop Pipeline: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop an ongoing pipeline of prospective M&A targets and other investment and inorganic opportunities.
- Opportunity evaluation: identify and evaluate opportunities to accelerate the ICL’s business while driving the company's overall growth and strategic objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (both internal and external), including business, GTM, finance, tax, legal, product, HR, R&D, and others.
- Due Diligence: Spearhead the due diligence efforts, including financial analysis, legal review, and operational assessments. Identify potential risks and synergies associated with M&A transactions.
- Integration Planning: Design and support integration plans to ensure a successful integration and transition post-acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in M&A with a good understanding of the overall deal process.
- Experience in corporate development (preferred) or in an adjacent domain such as investment banking, strategic management consulting, or a direct M&A supporting function.
- Excellent communication skills and a solid cross-functional team management track record.
- Strategic problem solver who can connect the dots across domains, identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Strong analytical, valuation and financial modeling skills .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and promote new ideas and concepts without formal authority.
- Ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external partners.
- Exceptional project management skills and attention to data and details.
- Familiarity with legal and financial aspects of M&A transactions.
- MBA highly desirable or equivalent practical experience.
