Job Overview: We are in search of a versatile and skilled individual to join our team as a Machine Technician. In this dynamic role, you will be the go-to expert for addressing a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and general systems issues across our glass manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Multi-system Maintenance:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment throughout the facility, including conveyors, pumps, compressors, and other industrial systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

1. Equipment Installation and Modification:

• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, ensuring proper integration into existing production systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement modifications and upgrades to improve overall equipment performance.

1. Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to identify and address potential issues before they disrupt production.
• Regularly inspect and service machinery to extend operational life and minimize the need for major repairs.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with production teams to understand their operational needs and address any technical challenges promptly.
• Communicate effectively with other technicians, machine operators, and management to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or technician role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
