Solutions Architect

 MidLink, Emet Technologies’ cloud division is growing and seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join our team!

The AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing AWS-based solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS architecture and services, and will be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications. The AWS Solution Architect will work closely with our Account Managers, DevOps team, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Work directly with clients in order to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business objectives.

●      Develop technical specifications based on business requirements, and communicate these specifications to developers, project managers, and clients.

●      Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of AWS solutions.

●      Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of AWS solutions, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and implementing disaster recovery solutions.

●      Work with Docker containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to build and deploy containerized applications.

●      Collaborate with operations teams to manage and optimize networking, load balancing, and other infrastructure components.

Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improving our solutions and processes.

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

●      Good verbal and written communication skills - Must.

●      2+ years of experience as an AWS Solution Architect or related field.

●      Strong understanding of AWS architecture and services

●      Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, including deployment and management of containerized applications.

●      Strong knowledge of networking, including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.

●      Experience with security and compliance in AWS, including IAM, VPC, and encryption.

●      Experience in CI/CD tooling and best practices.

●      Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

●      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

●      Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

●      Experience working in a SaaS environment, including familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and environments.

●      AWS certification(s) preferred.
