Technical Project Manager (Volunteering)

Israel Tech Guard is an elite team of tech volunteers who have come together to provide new, tech-based solutions to the military and government. We gathered some of Israel’s top developers, programmers, scientists and engineers to help design, build, and launch life-saving products in the fastest way ever imagined.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge drone detection solution. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conception to delivery, with a focus on computer vision, Android software algorithms, and camera technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage customer interactions, and ensure the successful delivery of a robust and efficient drone detection system.

Responsibilities -

• Project Planning and Coordination:
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and researchers, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Technical Oversight:
• Provide technical leadership in the areas of computer vision, Android software algorithms, and camera technologies.
• Collaborate with the technical team to define and refine system requirements and specifications.
• Customer Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations.
• Gather and document customer requirements, ensuring they align with the project objectives.
• Quality Assurance field test and demonstrations:
• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of a reliable and effective drone detection solution.
• Perform field test and demonstrations and demonstrations.
• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and progress reports.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technical projects, preferably in computer vision or software development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
• Solid grasp of project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with drone technology and detection solutions is a plus.
