The role:

As a Buyer with Homez, you'll play a pivotal role in procuring top-quality furnishings, equipment, and amenities for our properties. Your responsibilities will include sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the procurement process while ensuring the highest standards of quality within cost-effective parameters.

In this role you will:

• Source, assess, and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and according to company standards.
• Drive negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve optimal cost savings and favorable payment conditions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Design, and Finance, to align procurement strategies with overarching business objectives.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels through the utilization of relevant tools and systems.
• Facilitate periodic business reviews to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services, maintaining unwavering quality standards and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  
  

• Demonstrated expertise as a Buyer or within a similar procurement role (in a related field - an advantage)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• High organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in driving strategic procurement processes.
• Good collaboration skills, work well with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and negotiating experience.
• Experience in working with ERP systems (NetSuite - an advantage).
