What are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Developer to participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Checkmarx’s cloud-native application deployment in AWS/Kubernetes. As a DevOps Developer, you will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes and improve overall product quality.

How will you make an impact?

In this role you will be responsible for:

• identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of the DevOps team.
• Provide technical leadership to the DevOps team, including mentoring and coaching.
• Work closely with the engineering teams to define infrastructure needs and provide them with DevOps support and training.
• Research and integrate new technologies into our stack.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage, monitor, scale, and troubleshoot a distributed highly scalable, highly available, customer-facing software stack.

What is needed to succeed?

Required qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of AWS Cloud services
• Competent experience with building automation tools such as IaC, Jenkins, CircleCI, jFrog, Terraform, and similar tools
• 3+ years of experience in writing code (Python, GoLang, Node.js).
• 2+ Experience in running Kubernetes in production.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS and networking.
• Experience in CI/CD methodologies.
