Junior Product Manager, Software-Defined Storage

Lightbits’ mission is to lead the cloud-native data center transformation by delivering scalable and efficient software defined storage that is easy to consume. Founded in 2016, Lightbits brings the agility of hyperscale storage to private clouds and edge clouds. We are backed by strategic investors including Cisco Investments, Dell Technologies Capital, Intel Capital, Lenovo and Micron, as well as top investors and VCs. We are looking for an experienced, bold and hands-on Product Manager who would like to join our business team. The position is based in Israel. The world is going “cloud native” and the demands of different application environments on storage to accomplish this transformation vary with the environment chosen. Whether this environment is bare metal, VMware, Open-Stack or Kubernetes, they all place unique demands on storage.

Responsibilities

● In this role, the product manager will focus on defining next-generation storage solutions for enterprise private cloud and cloud service providers.

● The product manager works closely with R&D and Solution Engineering teams, as well as directly with customers to collect detailed storage requirements on features, data services, performance, and schedule.

● The product manager will then prioritize these requirements and collaborate with Engineering to establish our product roadmap.

● Validates early product definitions with customers

● Enable product marketing to define a go-to-market strategy by connecting our offering to use-cases

● Develop deep understanding of competitive landscape

● Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop compelling collateral that communicate our storage solutions value proposition to potential customers
