Job Description:

a. Design and development of computerized experiment systems intended for conducting measurements in laboratory and field conditions in the areas of the department's activity.

b. Responsible for the ongoing operation of the measurement systems in terms of hardware and software.

c. Performance of teaching and research assignments in the laboratories.

d. Provide instruction, guidance and support to students using the experiment systems in the lab and research stations in the field as well as outside the university.

e. Order lab instruments and equipment in the fields of the researchers’ activity and in coordination with them.

f. Performance of assignments with the assistance and in coordination with the department’s researchers.

g. Provide assistance and backup to officers in the department.

h. Perform other assignments according to the supervisor’s instructions.

i. Subordination: Head of the Department of Environmental, Geoinformatics and Urban Planning Sciences.

Job Requirements:

a. A university degree in physics or mechanical, chemical, software, computer, electrical or electronic engineering.

b. Two years' experience in the relevant fields.

c. Experience in working with electronic equipment.

d. Preferably experience in working with scientific measurement equipment.

Part-time Position: 50%
