Manager, Maintenance and Infrastructure

Description & Responsibilities

The maintenance manager is responsible for leading maintenance & infrastructures policy and practice efficiently.

The positions will be required to create strong relationships with internal and external team members to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that maximizes equipment uptime, minimizes downtime, and reduces overall maintenance costs.

· Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of skill and efficiency.

· Equipment Maintenance: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

· Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance department's budget, including cost control and expense forecasting.

· Vendor Management: Coordinate and negotiate with external vendors and suppliers for maintenance-related services and equipment procurement.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.

· Asset Tracking: Implement an asset management system to track equipment status, maintenance history, and replacement schedules.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Reporting: Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance and communicate results to senior management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).

· Proven experience in maintenance management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.
