Position - Head of Partner Management (Managerial)
WAVE BL is looking for a motivated and seasoned Director of Partnerships to manage our growing partner portfolio. In this role, you will focus on maximizing our business relationships with several distinct subsets of partners, such as carrier partners, technology partners, platform/ecosystem partners, etc. This role will be part of our Customer Group.
What You’ll Do:
- Take E2E ownership and accountability for a portfolio of partners + a small team. Manage efficiently under a set of goals and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong, trustful, long-lasting partner relationships. Ensure that partners are satisfied with the results of their collaboration. Establish effective communication channels with partners in order to foster productive working relationships
- Manage and develop the partners business relationship in line with our company’s strategy and Value Proposition, and constantly enhance the “network effect”.
- Maximize partnership value for our partners and WaveBL. Evaluate the performance of existing partnerships in order to identify opportunities for improvement
- Advise BD function regarding potential partners and support BD in establishing mutually beneficial partnership frameworks.
- Coordinate and monitor all operational activities related to support, product and network expansion and ongoing partner maintenance.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions and deliverables according to partner needs.
Requirements and Skills:
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic sales, partnerships, business development or similar. 5+ years of successful team management experience.
- Demonstrated success in a similar role and tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing partnerships.
- Proven ability to nurture strategic partnerships that have led to increased revenue and usage.
- Strong relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial approach that leverages further opportunities.
- Willingness to do a lot of hands-on work by yourself, while having executive presence and proven ability to negotiate and work with high level executives.
- Strong analytical skills (financial, planning, operational). Data-driven approach to managing a domain.
- Demonstrated drive to solve problems in a matrix team environment and leading with high energy and a positive attitude.
- Experience of working as part of a management team and leading organizational strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and excellent relationship building skills. English at native level, other languages are an advantage.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the Supply Chain / Shipping / International Trade industry – Strong Advantage.
- Strong Familiarity with Salesforce, Monday, MS365 – Advantage.
- Proven understanding with “Network Effect” business model and experience – Advantage.
