Design Team Lead - Wix Agency

Job Description

• Play a vital role in the management layer, defining a clear creative direction, vision, and overall design strategy for the design team
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, guiding their growth, skill development, and creative output
• Use your in-depth knowledge of the Wix platform to provide a creative direction that is professional and constantly connected to the product
• Oversee and improve the design process by staying up to speed with the latest Wix feature releases, as well as what’s happening in the wider industry
• Work with project managers to fully understand the client’s requirements, bridging the gap between the designer and the client and translating project requirements into clear design strategies
• Engage with clients to present design concepts, gather feedback, and make revisions based on client input
• Ensure client projects are delivered to the highest standards and within deadline
  
  

Qualifications:

• You’re a design lead who brings excellent design skills and experience, along with a strong tendency to mentor, lead and grow the design team
• You have proven experience in web design, with a portfolio showcasing diverse web projects, and familiarity with web development technologies and trends
• You have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design
• You have the leadership skills to inspire and guide a design team and play an important role in co-managing complex and large-scale projects in a matrix structure
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a challenging, client-facing environment
• Your passion and connection to the design industry can inspire and assure your team, empowering them to become better professionals and deliver best-in-class results
