Senior Investment Associate / VP – Climate

The Role

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Investment Associate/VP to join our team and play a pivotal role in our accelerator program. The position, which can be hybrid or fully remote, with up to 50% travel, offers the chance to work flexibly across advisory and investment activities in the climate tech, cleantech, agritech, and decarbonization sub-sectors.. As a core team member, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the firm, the clients and companies we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the investment process, from sourcing, due diligence to execution, for companies at various stages in climate-related sectors.
• Engage deeply with portfolio companies, offering strategic guidance and assuming board advisory positions to foster growth.
• Drive fundraising efforts and enhance the firm’s brand and reputation within the climate investment community.
• Develop and maintain a robust network of industry experts, entrepreneurs, and advisors.
• Perform thorough market analysis to identify investment trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing a diverse range of advisory and investment activities.
  
  

• You bring 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, with a focus on climate sectors.
• Very strong technical background in areas of financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Your passion for innovation and sustainability is coupled with a strong analytical background and a track record of successful investments.
• You are a self-starter, comfortable with the autonomy that comes with a remote role and frequent travel.
• Your communication skills are exceptional, and you are proficient in English, with additional languages being a plus.
• As a natural networker, you have a keen ability to build relationships across different cultures and industries.
