Senior DevOps Engineer

About you

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an Independent Individual Contributor in the DevOps field. You are a service-oriented team player, you enjoy working together with R&D and sharing your knowledge with teammates and colleagues. You are professionally interested in building a high-quality developer experience, efficient CI/CD pipelines, and well-designed architectures. You are responsible, independent, and proactive, capable of and interested in leading projects and initiatives.

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll develop, maintain and secure the infrastructure that makes Laminar work - our backend cloud presence, CI/CD pipelines, cloud testing presence, data ingestion systems, monitoring systems, and our multi-cloud customer presence.

You’ll support product and R&D efforts with your cloud knowledge, infrastructure best practices, security best practices and customized infrastructure code.

You’ll participate in team efforts such as design reviews and task forces.

You’ll work in an agile environment that focuses on high velocity and responds quickly to new insights.

As an all-around player, you'll work closely and at a high pace with other engineers, product, design, and other internal key stakeholders, as well as have a direct line of sight into how your work solves real-world problems for our clients and accelerates our business.

Requirements:

4+ years of DevOps experience.

Experience in managing infrastructure on AWS.

Experience in managing Kubernetes environments.

Experience with cloud native CD tools such as Argo or Flux - advantage.

Experience in managing databases and message queues, such as PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ.

Experience with CI systems - GitHub Actions preferred.

Experience with one or more IaC frameworks - Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi or Crossplane. More than one - advantage.

Experience with managing Linux-based environments.

Experience with multi-cloud environments/deployments - advantage.

Previous experience in the cybersecurity domain - advantage.
