Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Dimona is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Process Engineer. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and improving industrial processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to design and implement efficient solutions that meet quality and safety standards.

Job Location:

Dimona located in the southern part of Israel in the Negev, not far from the Dead Sea area, the lowest location in the world.

The factory in Dimona is the oldest in Vishay, having been established in 1986.

What You Will Be Doing

• To support Production and Root Cause Analysis: Serve as a key resource for production teams by providing engineering support and investigating process anomalies, product defects, and equipment failures to identify and apply problem solving techniques.
• To manage process, optimization and continuous improvement: identifying, analyzing and evaluating existing processes for opportunities to optimize efficiency, improve productivity and improve product quality, working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, equipment design and quality control.
• To conduct engineering experiments: Plan, conduct, and analyze engineering experiments to evaluate or qualify new processes, raw materials, and equipment.
• To analyze statistical data: Use statistical methods and tools to analyze process data, identify trends, and evaluate process performance.
• To develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions
  
  

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 4 years proven experience as a Process Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using statistical tools for data analysis (Excel, Minitab or equivalent) and Knowledge in the field of Six Sigma.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Hebrew, English – high level required.
