Cyber Security Support Engineer

About the position:

• manage antivirus environment, intrusion detection and vulnerability management tools
• act as the incident manager for the respective services managed within the support portfolio
• analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them
• collaboratively build operational, near real-time telemetry to make us better, faster and more efficient;
• analyze events and processes in a complex ecosystem, and produce insights, and identify areas for improvement;
• Bring a passion/interest in AIOps and perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.
• managing the development of new processes and overseeing improvements on existing processes to increase overall efficiency
• build and enhance monitoring solutions to enhance the health of the Security platforms; (Self-Healing)

You have:

• very strong skills in operating system platforms: MS Windows and Linux RedHat
• writing automation using Python, PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Good understanding of Cloud / Azure security configuration and troubleshooting.
• experience with monitoring & telemetry tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk etc.
• experience with automation tools like IpSoft, Ansible, and Automation Anywhere.
• knowledge of AIOps, and preferably exposure/understanding of solutions such as BigPanda, and Loom;
• understanding or have experience with agile philosophies;
