Java Software Engineer

Global communications company primarily focuses on telecommunications and media. The Israel center is responsible for developing software products across the company's strategic operational domains: 5G networks, digital communication solutions for consumers and organizations, advanced products for emergency management and world rescue systems, and now, also the cloud domain.

The role involves Full stack development with a server-side inclination (70% Server), working with Java, Spring, Azure, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, and client-side with Angular14.

Located in the center of the country allows 3 days of remote work per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Angular/Node-based applications on Azure cloud platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability

• Work closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to understand requirements and translate them into functional, efficient code

• Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications, while adhering to best practices and security standards

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment

• Continuously explore and implement new Azure services and features to optimize and enhance application performance

• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, as well as to share knowledge and improve overall team skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3 years of experience in Java development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

• Demonstrated experience working with Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
