Operations PMO Medical Devices

Magenta is a medical device company developing the world’s smallest heart pump, meant to provide minimally-invasive support to the heart during acute episodes of dysfunction. The Elevate™ System is multi-disciplinary, involving mechanical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, software, algorithms and state-of-the-art catheter fabrication techniques.

We are looking for a Project Manager who will be part of the leading team of the Operations department and will be responsible for leading projects that combines cross-functional activities, while improving processes in the fields of production and operations.

Reports to: VP of Operations & Engineering 

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement projects of internal working processes in the Operations Department, including work procedures, processes, and methods.
• Lead the work planning process in Operations, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly level, as well as monitoring the results.
• Control and monitor the progress and implementation of the work plan in the Operations & Engineering teams.
• Lead projects to streamline and improve operational work processes from the diagnosis stage, formulation of recommendations, assimilation, and implementation.
• Identification of bottlenecks in existing work processes and definition of appropriate solutions in collaboration with the professional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and familiarity with the production processes
• Experience in training and implementation of LEAN
• Office applications proficiency (Word, PP, Excel)
• Familiarity with ERP application
• Experience from medical/biomedical/pharma companies – an advantage
• Familiarity with medical device development companies – an advantage
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent writing and verbal skills with strong proficiency in English and Hebrew
