Big Data Developer

A listed company that specializes in developing and managing advanced data solutions for core systems is in search of a skilled professional to join our Data Engineering team based in Tel Aviv!

This role involves contributing to our Data Management platform, responsible for processing, storing, and serving data for our core systems.

As part of the team, you'll engage in proactive research and development, collaborating closely while embracing autonomy. Our ideal candidate is a rapid yet meticulous problem solver and a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end feature development, owning design through production
• Contribute to designing the next iteration of our Data Management Platform
• Implement large-scale solutions for managing big data and enrich our platform infrastructure and architecture
• Explore and integrate core technologies with external APIs and services
• Engage with diverse stakeholders: Product, Engineering, and Data providers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Minimum of 4 years in software development
• Proficiency in performance and large-scale data systems
• Familiarity with Pipelines, ETLs, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Streaming systems
• Experience in Java development (preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL & NOSQL DBs
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (a plus)
• Exposure to Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDb, Kibana (an advantage)
• A motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
• Capable of independent work and effective multitasking
• Enthusiastic about learning and adopting new technologies
