Project Manager

DRS RADA is looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

The project manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing product development projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

As part of its role, the project manager will be responsible for the following activities:

• Leading the project multidisciplinary team, working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Production and Delivery
• Project management including: Schedule preparation and monitoring, Budget management, Risk Management, and bottlenecks monitoring
• Customer management: commercial and projects aspects (in Customer’s funded projects)
• Involvement in product’s design & development
• Coordinating all activities related to:
• Prototypes production
• Testing and integration (lab & field tests)
• Release to production
• First production batch
• Handshake with the Delivery team
  
  

• A bachelor's degree in relevant fields, with an MBA being an advantage.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in project management roles, developing complex, multi-disciplinary products aimed for mass production.
• A technical background and orientation is a MUST (System Engineering preferred).
• Experience from defense companies is an advantage.
• Experience with OEM products is an advantage.
• In-depth understanding in Radars – an advantage.
• Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and dynamic conditions.
• Ability to lead in a matrix, comfortable working with multiple interfaces simultaneously.
• Hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough and methodological approach.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skill
