Mechanical Technician

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for the mechanical system operation and maintenance such as: Compressors, OFA system, Vacuum system, PCW(Process chilled water), Plant air, Instrument air, HVAC systems like air handler units, humidification system, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, motors, bearings, exhaust fan, scrubbers, terminal oxidizers.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with Technicians, System Engineers and customers during day to day.
• Responsibile for systems operation, maintenance, reliability and
• stability.
• Initiate system improvement, support upgrade projects in all aspects
• (Safety, reliability, energy saving and others).
  
  

Qualifications

• Practical Engineer Diploma in Chemistry / Mechanical / Mechatronics - a must
• Relevant experience of 3 years in a similar job
• Technical knowledge and skills
• Familiarity with HMI system for monitoring and control such as Simplicity
• Ability to solve relatively complicated technical problems
• Familiar with analytical instrumentation and control sensors elements
• Good background with liquid and air delivery systems - pipes, fans, pumps and system elements
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
• Experience with mechanical systems
• Ability to work on diverse tasks in safety and quality manner
• Ability to work in shifts mode
