DBA

Atera is looking for a Senior and motivated DBA to join us.

In this position,, some primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining database infrastructures, using database technologies (SQL, No-SQL, Elastic), monitoring production performance and stability, and producing scalable solutions to existing and new technologies.

This is a full-time and onsite (hybrid-remote) role at our Tel Aviv office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize application databases, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database structures.
• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
• Administer system-level database tasks, including installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  
  

Requirements:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL DBs – MongoDB / CosmosDB / DynamoDb / ADX / Redis
• Experience with Azure SQL Server
• Database infrastructure design
• Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Implementing operational automation using scripts
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Experience in ETL processes, SP, Backups/Replication
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options
• Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server
• Exposure to database migration strategies and implementation.
