Senior Buyer

We are looking for a senior buyer to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Working with suppliers and subcontractors - executing contracts, managing work processes with the subcontractors and with supporting internal organizational interfaces
• Responsibility for the production and fulfillment of the orders, backlog management and supply according to the needs of the projects and internal customers
• Carrying out sourcing and optimization processes for a supplier base
• Construction and management of a work plan with the relevant contractors in accordance with the needs of the division and the organization's business strategy
• Main goals: savings, supplier base management, supplier performance and more

The position is at the Tefen Industrial Park in Northern Israel.

Requirements:

• A relevant academic degree is an advantage.
• Proven experience of 3 years or more in local and global technical procurement - mandatory
• Proven knowledge and experience in contractual, commercial, and logistical management of subcontractors in the field of electronic production - mandatory.
• Leading suppliers in Israel and around the world
• Ability to negotiate, SOURCING, managing tasks at the same time, finding professional and creative solutions.
• Experience in accompanying projects from the development stage to serial production, familiarity with the relevant quality requirements, recognition and understanding of production technologies - an advantage
• Excel at a very high level,
• English at a high-level speaking and writing,
• knowledge of ERP systems
• Highly motivated, initiative, flexibility, innovation, and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and under pressure.
