Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Haifa District, Israel. As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for various aspects of experimental research, including executing experiments and analyzing data, working both independently and as part of a team. You will be required to maintain experimental records, generate written reports and contribute to research proposals. You will also assist in the development and optimization of cell culture protocols, and carry out experimental work involving molecular biology techniques. The successful candidate will work primarily on the development of advanced cell culture methods.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Biotechnology or a related field
• Experience with cell culture, molecular biology techniques (RNA isolation, PCR, electrophoresis) and protein analysis (Western blot)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in using scientific databases and online resources for literature search and data analyses.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a strong work ethic
• Experience with primary human and/or model organism cell culture and techniques related to pluripotent stem cells and developmental biology would be beneficial
• Experience with multi-detector flow cytometry, gene delivery and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing would be a plus.
