Computer Vision Engineer

Growings is a well-funded startup and is a collaboration between Tama – an internationally known farm solutions global company, and IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries.

Growings has developed a unique autonomous Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) – it is a 1.5 ton air vehicle - which utilizes the most advanced avionics and aerodynamics technologies that are specifically optimized for the agriculture market. Growings’ UAS aims for precise agriculture solutions in crop-treatment while also focusing on safety and environmental preservation.

The combined expertise of Growings’ experienced aerospace team and Tama’s global agricultural knowledge, along with the cooperation of farmers in the field, has helped Growings develop an incredible product with a major goal: delivering crop solutions with a focus on safety, precision, and farmer satisfaction.

What will you do?

• Design, build and train deep learning models for autonomous UAV
• Design and build 3D reconstruction algorithms from stereoscopic vision
• Create real time algorithms for object detection, segmentation, and classification.
• Execute data analytics, models performance monitoring and validation tests
• Be part of an Agile scrum team, lead functional design reviews, testing and coding of automatic procedures.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in deep learning for computer vision tasks
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in python, specifically data – oriented packages: NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Deep-Learning framework (PyTorch – preferable)
