Who we seek:

If you love working on automation infrastructure, you’re welcome to join us! We are looking for a QA Director to join our R&D team. Your main focus will be to identify, develop, implement, and manage the product’s quality standards, automation methodologies, and tools. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who love supporting a passionate and collaborative team, solving problems, dealing with problems by coming up with creative solutions, and continually improving company processes and culture.

What you’ll do:

• Identify, develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
• Participate hands-on in product testing, and sign off on release quality
• Mentor QA engineers
• Analyze quality metrics to introduce improvements to the testing process to decrease defects found in production
• Work on micro-services architecture
• Plan how to close the automation backlog and push it forward
• Communicate with teams across the organization on testing strategy and design
• Work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment on a daily basis
  
  

• At least 3-5 years of experience as an QA Automation Lead - mandatory
• Solid grasp of software development life cycle, best practices and methods across multiple teams: Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD, team leadership, and mainly test automation
• Ability to explore and initiate new ideas, think and learn independently. Proven experience in leading Quality cross-organizational improvements.
• Experience in Java/NodeJS/Python (at least one) - mandatory
• Excellent communication skills required for documenting and connecting with other groups – mandatory
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Jenkins, Groovy scripting, bash/shell
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, AWS, relational and non-relational Databases
• Experience in Rest API automation and testing methodologies
