Finance & Demand Planning Manager

What This Position Is About - Purpose

The key objective of this role is to establish the logistics and finance function in the services entity in Israel. You will be responsible for providing finance support to the local management team, the preparation of the Entity statutory and financial accounting and reporting requirements (P&/L, B/S, cash flow and internal and external audits) as well as Management and Entity planning (APSP, LEs, SPC). You will be a key driver of the JTI planning process including OL, LE, and A&SP, ensuring logistics and finance relevance & accuracy. You have a strategic mindset with the ability to align financial and demand planning strategies with overall business objectives.

What Will You Do - Responsibilities

Logistic/Demand Planning

• Ensure timely shipments and delivery of the Customer's orders. Liaise with Customers to ensure that the orders are placed on time and as per the Shipment/Delivery plan
• Prepare, review & align 18 months Sales forecast and further follow up with sourcing factories to ensure the market demands are correctly reflected in their production plans
• Run all the necessary inputs for IBP every month. Ensure alignment between Customers orders and JTI's production planning process
• Closely monitor JTI product portfolio evolution, collecting, analyze and report global in-house NTM capacity, outlining capacity bottlenecks by configurations
• Provide prompt feedback and sound analyses, reporting product quality-logistics issues via a dedicated tool based on JTI procedures, about the list of products assigned
• Act as the main contact with both factories and Customer Services for all the market activities. Deal with all sourcing change projects, new product introductions, and NTM's coordination
• Responsible for the volume planning throughout the JTI planning cycle. Together with finance in charge of the input for OL, LE, and A&SP, ensuring logistics relevance & accuracy
• Develop sourcing change scenarios, highlight short-mid-long-term gains & risks. Identify improvement opportunities, ways of working, and strategic priorities for RTM. Design, define and establish RTM key metrics and benchmarks to achieve RTM targets
  
  

• Perform the Financial Planning and Analysis function, responsible for management planning and accounting for ASP, SPC, PMM's and LE's. Prepare and submit (after clearance) all necessary Legal Entity Budgets (AP, SP, SPC, LE's, FCF forecasts)
• Provide monthly Variance Analysis concerning OPEX, Cash flow, CAPEX, and below OCC P&L items
• Coordinate the preparation of monthly and periodic local statutory accounts as required and in line with JTI standards, ensuring the external accounting services provider performs all accounting transactions under local requirements to ensure full compliance with local and company policies. Prepare periodic Entity Financial & Tax packages. Monitor local statutory audits, and coordinate tax-related matters
• Accuracy and correctness of the entity's Balance Sheet and P&L statements. Support the preparation of the Annual Accounts and local Books. Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of Financial statements
• Support the relationship with external audits. Coordinate and ensure timely preparation and submission of the information requested, Provide support to external auditors when performing the work
• Report financial results to local management in a timely and accurate for quick decision-making. Prepare presentations for senior management and make presentations to local management as required
• Ensure JSOX process controls are performed and documented as per the company standards
• Perform Account reconciliations aligned with JTI's Global KAR Framework model. Ongoing improvement of the integration of local planning/finance systems
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred
• Proven experience in finance, demand planning, or a related field
• Strong financial analysis skills to interpret data, trends, and financial statements
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
• Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and other factors influencing demand
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present financial information to various stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and demand planning software
