Process Engineer

Eitan Medical is a fast-growing international medical device company that develops and manufactures innovative medical equipment.

The right candidate will take responsibility on production line performance, including design, optimization and monitoring manufacturing processes of both existing on market products and new designed products (NPI).

Job Description:

The main task of the Engineer is to allow production of high-quality goods efficiently using GMP, Lean and other cost-effective methods.

• Leading engineering activity regarding process optimization and capacity improvement.

• Lead and Manage production test process from definition phase - DFX, up to implementation in the production line

• Manage a clear, stable, and efficient HW/SW release process

• Lead engineering investigation activities related to dimensional or structuring issues.

• Main engineering point of contact to suppliers and vendors, considering quality of materials.

• Main Eng. POC to other company functions regarding manufacturing and engineering processes.

• Supports MRB processes in Operation.

• Supports Supply Chain in cost reduction activity.

• Provides Engineering assessment of potential and existing suppliers.

• Supports outsourcing of manufacturing lines and products.

• Leading engineering aspects of technology and operational transfer of developed manufacturing processes and new product development from R&D to manufacturing environment (NPI)

• Ongoing Support / Lead ECO process

Direct Manager: Engineering Manager

Job Requirements:

• Education: BSc. Degree in relevant field - Electronical, Mechanics or Biomedical Engineering preferable

• Job Skills:

o 3-5 years of professional experience as process/manufacturing engineer in a multidisciplinary product

o Good understanding of manufacturing processes, experience in the medical devices industry – an advantage

o Experience with ECO and MCO processes

o Clean room work experience – an advantage

o Good technical abilities and technical curiosity with Innovative spirit

o Position responsibilities require project management skills and multi-tasking ability.

o Experience with multidisciplinary products NPI

o Experience in working with vendors and CM’s

o Good analytical skills, self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative.

• Language skills: Good English, both written and verbal

• Personality:

o Self-starter with drive, focus, and initiative

o Good communication and interpersonal skills

o A real team player able to efficiently work with multi disciplines across the organization (Production, SC, R&D, QA/RA etc)

o An ability of technical leadership in matrix and changing environment.
