Do you want to work for a company who are at the forefront of every successful company’s agenda? Based in Tel Aviv near Gordon Beach (and offering 100% remote work) and picking up momentum, media attention, and public awareness, our client is looking to tackle the problem of workplace misconduct.

They’ve created an app that allows employees to report through to the end user (nominally a member of HR), who is able to view complaints through a SaaS platform. This allows them to use data analytics to pinpoint where the problem is and how they can address it.

Having recently secured another round of funding, they’re looking for a hands-on (about 50%) Team Lead for their Engineering Squad based in Tel Aviv. They’re looking for someone who has great leadership experience, coaching skills, technical ability, and a commitment to agile methodologies and engineering standards.

Tell me about the role?

You’ll inherit a squad of four engineers (with a growth aim of 6) where you’ll be able to demonstrate your leadership skills to inspire and foster a collaborative team environment. A key part of this role removing any obstacles and clearing the path to enable progress within the team. Rapid and efficient coding and deployment is essential for your team.

As well as this being a people leadership position, you’ll need technical experience (they use React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS) as diving into the coding and setting those engineering standards wouldn’t be uncommon in this role.

What experience do I need?

Previous team lead experience is essential (either as a Lead or Senior) and you should have some experience with their tech stack with a hunger to master the rest:

Tech Stack: React, Node.js, Express, GraphQL, React Native, PostgreSQL, Redux, AWS (ECS, EC2, KMS, RDS), Terraform, TypeScript, CircleCI, Cypress

As this is a collaborative role, you’ll need experience in a cross-functional agile team (Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers). An interest in AI and data is also a plus.

This is a great opportunity to join a company with a clear plan of growth, and also offers a competitive salary (they’re thinking in the region of 34,000 – 38,000 NIS per month), as well as stock options and a very attractive bonus scheme.

The team all work remotely and on a flexible basis, though a few of them do get together twice a week in the office. There’s no pressure to do this though. Lastly, you’ve membership of a mental health app and 20 days holiday.
