Hardware Support Engineer (Student position)

We are looking for a HW support engineering student to join our Hardware team in developing innovative products in the health domain.

Lumen (Metaflow Ltd) is the world's first hand-held, portable, and science-backed device to measure metabolism by a single breath. Lumen tracks, analyzes, and recommends how to improve your metabolic health by developing a personalized nutrition plan and data-driven insights, brought by a dedicated stylish mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Taking hands-on ownership of lab facilities
• Performing full testing coverage from planning and writing test protocols, through conducting data collection to analysis, documentation, and reporting
• Transfer validation pipeline code (MATLAB to Python)
• Assembly prototypes incl. wiring/soldering
• Support/conduct data collection for research and evaluation purposes
• Capacity: part-time 20 weekly hours
  
  

• Electronics/Mechanical/SW Engineering (at least 3rd year student)
• Self-driven, fast learner, and versatile person
• Excellent problem-solving and methodological mindset
• Excellent time management and independent work skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hebrew and English)
• Knowledge of Python language - is required, MATLAB/LabVIEW an advantage
• Proven work experience with sensors – an advantage
