Senior Unity XR, Software Engineer

Oversight helps emergency response teams better prepare for life-and-death situations using Augmented Reality.

Job Summary:

The engineer will develop Unity based AR/XR applications.

What you’ll do:

·         Design, improve, and support reusable components and frameworks that enable immersive experiences and rapid prototyping

·         Plan, review, and implement systems to allow for the creation and improvement of XR UI/UX components

·         Participate in code and design reviews

Candidates should be self-motivated, multi-taskers, and team players. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for developing new software products and enhancing existing ones. A strong communication and leadership skills are required, as well as experience working with large applications and frameworks. 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Highly passionate and motivated autodidact

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience

·         3+ years of experience building and shipping high performance code in C#

·         Experience in working in a developer team and familiar with source control and issue tracking tools

·         3+ years exposure to game development engines like Unity or Unreal

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Working experience and developing for VR/AR headsets

·         Good practice in human-machine interface oriented for AR

·         Experience with camera API, Graphics programming and / or 3D development

·         Knowledge of Unity DOTS style architectures, specifically Burst
