Mechanical Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking for a skilled and experienced IS Machine Technician to join our glass manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our Individual Section (IS) Machines, ensuring the efficient and reliable production of high-quality glass jars.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Maintenance and Repair:

• Conduct routine maintenance on IS Machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance schedules.

1. Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to IS Machines during production.
• Analyze machine performance data and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with the IS Machine Supervisor and Operator to address any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

• Technical certifications or coursework is a plus.
• Proven experience as an IS Machine maintenance or similar role in a glass manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with Individual Section (IS) Machines and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
