We are looking for a creative and innovative designer who will own and lead the full-cycle development process for our prestige packaging from ideation through to implementation.

In this role, you will focus on packaging, layout and volume product, so you must have experience in 3D.

Your life at MAËLYS will look like…

• Create full product cycles from primary to secondary packaging, through formula shape definition, color strategy, and user interface.
• Design mass-produced premium high-end packaging using glass, plastic, cardboard, and fabric.
• Investigate, define, and test packaging types that best support new formulas and user experiences.
• Conceptualize and develop complete customer experiences with the brand, such as shipping experiences, PR kits, gifting plans, influencer boxes, etc.
• Combine between best-in-class design and the needs of reality - time-to-market, target prices, safety standards, sustainable claims, etc.
• Support the industrialization and QC process of bringing your designs to life.

You will thrive in this role if you have…

• Experience in Solidworks and KeyShot.
• Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• BA in Industrial Design.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• French spoken- an advantage.
• Advantage - experience in hands-on designing plastic-based and glass-based packaging.
• Able to anticipate and mitigate risk, including dual pathing of a project to meet timelines.
• Proactivity, accuracy, as well as teamwork player.
• You love beauty and trend-hunting.
• You can look at both the larger picture and every small detail.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to put aside ego for the sake of what's best for the team.
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
