Back End Developer

Blockchain-based DeFi Startup - Developed a risk and investment management platform tailored for the blockchain world. The product aims to mitigate risks from manipulations and cyber events. They have paying clients and are expecting to double their income in the coming months.

Role Summary: Part of a team of two Backend Developers, reporting to the CTO. Development in Python and NodeJS.

They employ around 20 individuals, located in Tel Aviv near a train station, incorporating remote work on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

● Build and design a cloud platform that enables creating and managing complex python models.

● Work on infrastructure architecture to support parallel execution of thousands of compute-heavy simulations runs.

● Build cloud platform services at scale - Building data pipelines, scaling database performance, and working on cutting-edge technology.

● Research different blockchains to design and build infrastructure, and tools for the different ecosystems.

● End-to-End project leadership, proficient in guiding comprehensive software development initiatives from conception to implementation, ensuring seamless integration and delivering high-quality solutions.

Requirements

● 3 years of professional experience in Infrastructure/Backend Services.

● Experience in OOP coding languages.

● Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges.

● Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.

● Demonstrated experience working in self-managed, fast-paced environments.

● Experience working on cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.

● Experience with containers (Docker and similar solutions) and micro-services architecture
