Sheba Medical Center, the largest hospital in the middle east and one of the top ranked hospitals in the world, launched an Innovation Center named ARC. ARC stands for Accelerate, Redesign, and Collaborate, and it encompasses a global ecosystem that aims to develop, pilot, and roll out game-changing solutions.

It prioritizes innovations in digital health as a change vehicle and promotes an open innovation environment. While uniting leading academic medical centers with innovative startups and strategic industry partners, ARC drives forward rapid development and implementation through data sharing and streamlined collaborations.

Position: Project Manager Officer for ARC Surgery Innovation Lab

The Project Manager of the Surgery Innovation Lab within ARC plays a pivotal role in advancing surgery innovations that have a meaningful impact on healthcare. This position requires a highly organized and motivated individual who can effectively manage a variety of projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external industry companies, and drive innovative initiatives forward.

• Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight: Lead and manage projects within the innovation lab, ensuring they align with the overall goals of ARC. This includes project planning, budget management, and timeline tracking.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with ARC and Sheba team members, including clinicians, IT teams, industrial designers, mechanical students and engineers, regulatory teams to foster collaboration and ensure that projects are on track.
• External Collaborations: working with external companies – from scope of work definition to managing the external company collaborative work. Creating and leading routine follow-ups, being the focal point and frontline of Sheba to the company and escalating to management when needed.
• Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, to support project needs.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including industry partners and regulatory authorities, as needed to support project objectives.

• Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Management, Project Management, Digital Health).
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare or digital health sector.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Extra Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks (Helsinki, GCP etc.)
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of bioengineering principles and technologies.
