Global Trade Compliance Lawyer at Hi-Tech Department

About the position:

You will be part of a team that helps clients address a broad range of legal, regulatory and policy issues that involve international trade and investment, government regulation of exports, and compliance with applicable trade controls.

Among other things, you will:

• Assist clients with all stages and aspects of creating, implementing, and updating global trade compliance programs: including risk assessments, drafting policies, training, and support with day-to-day implementation.
• Deliver legal advice on compliance matters related to export controls, economic sanctions, and anticorruption compliance.
• Assist with due diligence as regulatory counsel on M&A deals.
• Research and stay abreast of relevant compliance subject matters, regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of post-qualification legal experience in global trade compliance pertaining to any of the following: export controls, economic sanctions, foreign direct investment, and/or anticorruption compliance.
• Experience in working at the intersection of law and technology with any of the following sectors: aerospace, defense, cyber, semiconductors, telecommunications or other emerging technology sector.
• Independent learning skills, analytical thinking, and a desire to be challenged.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Hebrew.
