System Administrator

Main Responsibilities:

·        Ensure continuous uptime of the production environment.

·        Troubleshoot incidents and system/application downtime from an infrastructure perspective.

·        Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and system version patching (Desktop, Servers Windows &

Linux).

·        Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.

·        Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print

services); research event log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that system

architecture components work together seamlessly.

·        Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as

they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.

·        Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers,

routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support the internet, intranet,

LANs, WANs, and network segments.

·        Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.

·        Explore and acquire knowledge of new technologies, taking a proactive approach to ensure

system availability, redundancy, and security.

·        Participate in IT projects from inception to completion, including attending design meetings,

providing technological insights, influencing solutions, and aligning them with IT requirements

(availability, redundancy, operation, monitoring, scalability, architecture, etc.)

·        Create and maintain IT documentation.

·        Apply DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.

·        Utilize cloud services and demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

About The Role

·        Responsible for IT system services and infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, FortiGate & Palo Alto

security solutions, Intune, etc.

·        Manage the organization's network systems and have the skills to troubleshoot any problem.

·        Owned IT systems projects deployment from start-to-end

·        Identifies the business needs, searches for optional solutions, and deploys accordingly.

·        Manage all our infrastructure's monitoring and backup platforms to ensure the high availability of

our critical apps.

·        Provide Tier 3 support for escalated complex cases.

·        Work tightly with the security team to ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

Requirements

3-5 years' experience as a system administrator

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

Experience with Windows environments on premises (Exchange, SharePoint, AD, SCCM, WDS, WSUS, etc.) and in the cloud (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)

Experience with Linux.

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

Experience with storage systems, specifically NetApp

Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks

monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure

Backup systems: Acronis, Veeam, and Arcserve

deep knowledge of Cisco products.

Excellent understanding of networking (LAN, WAN)

Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)

Experience with SQL Server.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in Hebrew and English)
