System Engineer

A leading tech company that develops wireless communication systems for motorcycle helmets, skiing, and more, is seeking a System Engineer for its R&D department, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.

Based in the Sharon region, the company operates with a hybrid model and has around 150 employees.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in all aspects of hardware and software development.

• Design new solutions according to product requirements and provide specs for the R&D teams.

• Oversee the integration and testing of hardware and software components within the system, ensuring compliance with project requirements and performance expectations.

• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions, providing technical expertise and identifying potential issues or risks.

• Provide technical support to internal teams, including product management, hardware, and software development, ensuring seamless integration of system components and overall product functionality.

• Serve as a technical liaison between our company and Chinese partners, managing technical communication and ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements and specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and testing phases, working with Chinese partners to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer with a proven track record of managing and supporting product development projects.

• In-depth knowledge of system engineering principles, including hardware and software integration, system architecture, and testing methodologies.

• Strong understanding of Chinese ODM processes and experience working with Chinese ODM partners.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
