Senior Backend Developer

Grappa.xyz is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Backend Developer with a dash of leadership skills to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will develop and maintain our cutting-edge internet services and server-side applications. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications.
• Utilize AWS Cloud technologies for various tasks and operations.
• Maintain a robust, large-scale internet service architecture that supports our diverse client base.
• Build and manage abstracted SDKs and API tools.
• Monitor data and establish pipeline health solutions for mixed frontend and API metrics.
• Manage the execution and maintenance of remote containers.
• Work on porting to component-based frontend systems.
• Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD processes, specifically with Github Actions hooks, envs, and downstream e2e testing.
• Coordinate with team members on project tasks and occasionally lead small project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role in software development.
• In-depth understanding of server-side JavaScript (NodeJS, Express, NextJS SSR).
• Postgress maintenance and Prisma engineering with optimizations. Additional experience with GraphQL - advantage.
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud technologies (Lambda, SQS, Postgress).
• Experience and understanding of containerization principles.
• Familiarity with the building and management of abstracted SDK and API tools.
• Experience with data monitoring and pipeline health solutions.
• Understanding of CI/CD methods and setup - Github Actions hooks, rapid env deployments, and testing and puppeteering.
• Familiarity with blockchain architecture and provider libraries would be a distinct advantage.
