Senior QA Automatiom Engineer

EcoPlant, a rapidly growing global awards-winning, A.I. based SaaS solution creating a green industrial world by minimizing energy waste, co2 & downtime to industrial plants bringing machine intelligence to compressed air systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Automation engineer to join our team and help us ensure the quality of our products . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Automation and manual QA methodologies tools and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Senior QA Automation, you will work closely with our development team and execute test plans, create and maintain test cases, and automate testing processes to increase efficiency and reduce the time required to identify defects.

This role is part of the R&D management, reporting to the QA TL.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation tests for our IoT and backend.
• Develop and implement QA plans and test with R&D teams.
• Run daily automation tests and control the reports 
• Oversee System Integration Tests (SIT) to validate software interoperability.
• Work with all stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects. This includes prioritizing defects, and tracking the resolution progress to completion.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Python/ JavaScript development - is a must!
• Good understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
• Experience in API testing (Postman)
• Experience in performance testing and database management
• Experience with the major cloud providers (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with automation framework(s) tools and manual tests. 
• Generate and execute STP and STD based on specifications, providing clear STR.
• Experience with testing WEB applications and using browser debugging tools.
• Advantage: experience in QA of embedded/IoT products.
