Senior High-Speed Optical Transceiver Practical Engineer

We are now looking practical electrical engineers who like to be part of high-end Optical Transceiver Design. This role will give you a rare opportunity to affect and deliver a new class of products, aimed at delivering data at incredible speeds, using high end solutions to lead the world of high-speed optical communication to new extremes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing qualification activities for new products.
• Coordinating and supervising proto-type and products builds at CMs and on NVIDIA Labs.
• Hands on lab work to evaluate and improve the product performances and new setup installations.
• Work with multiple operational groups inside and outside the company such as qualification, suppliers, and manufacturers to scale the product from lab to mass production high runner.
• Learning to use new technologies to enable improvement for generation to generation.
  
  

What We Need To See

• Practical Engineer/Technician, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to lead multiple tasks, projects, and co-workers, while maintaining order and organized, self-motivated with a sharp learning curve.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills (in English).
• Desire to work multi-discipline projects.
• Ability to work in a high paced project development environment.
• At least 5 years experience in PCB, electro-optics or electrical measurements.
  
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Hands on experience with electrical lab work and fiber optic handling.
• Experience in project leading and working at international organizations.
• Familiarity with high-speed systems and optical setups
• Script level coding in Python
